The social network & Orchestra concert

I have been spending my whole evening watching the social network movie. It is a movie which portrays the story how Facebook was created and things that happen along the way. Overall, it was quite interesting though there are terms which are hard to be comprehended. This movie also tells me how addictive is FB to everyone and how fast this culture of FB-ing spreads. This fact is undeniably true because it's like almost everyone in the world own FB accounts. Children who are supposed to play with barbie doll or any thing respective to that, is no longer has that interest. They prefer FB more which i am not sure if they really know the denotative meaning of FB. It is not a shock if a four year little child approaches you and ask; 'ko ada fesbuuk ka??'

However, sometimes i feel that FB-ing is tedious. It is like every time I open my FB, I to do the same thing; viewing my profile repetitively, stalking others, commenting pictures and so on. Huhu. But i still need my FB, because that is the only medium for me to figuratively see my friends' activities. after all, it's a small unbounded world that connects everyone without limit!

After the movie finished, my two other friends and I went to TAZA to see the 'An evening with Sons classic' concert. Actually, I don't have the heart to come, but because I was 'forced' by ezra who was one of the orchestra-ians, so I came there. But it was a great presentation after all. The musics and singers' voice were so impressive and admirable! It makes my heart wishes to have an orchestra band for my wedding later. Okay, it is still long way to go.

Changes

People and thing change. I have learnt this term in so many ways. sometimes i fail to understand it, but that is the fact that i have to accept. no one will stay the same. someone whom is trusted the most will turn out to be a betrayal. a good friend can be enemy in just one night. a loser can be a winner tomorrow and the list goes down. at times, i hope that everything will stay the same. i hope that people will treat me as they always do. but it won't happen that way. people need too change for better. someone is changing because of the inconstant environment. changing is needed for surviving. even, the world situation is changing and i guess the only constant thing in this world is the 'changing' process. i hope that every 'change' is for the betterment of the world and i wish that it is a wise thing to do and for the sake of improving ourselves.

IC+sport+exam

I have renewed my IC today! Yeah! at last! hehe after this, there will be no more question from the airport officers on renewing my IC. yes, i do know that my old IC looks terrible with my unrecognised-half-face picture. huhh! Luckily, today we don't have any class and we even managed to watched movie while waiting for the IC. We watched the 'SCREAM' which is seriously full of us screaming out loudly along the movie. Thanks to my dearly classmates, mimi, faz, dany and jarul for making our days of outing-for-IC-making-and-eating so much fun !

For the coming weeks, we are going to have our Sports day which will be held early May. I will be participating in 1500m this time. i don't intend to win but i just want to challenge myself if i can stand on it. and i need some days to go for jogging. yes i need to jog more because i am gaining weight!

Less than 5 weeks i will be back to sabah! can't wait for it. in time, i will have to prepare myself for my 1st exam in degree year. yeah, exam is just around the corner! wake up may! wish me luck people.

Decision

I don’t know how to say this out literally because I am not in the right position to tell you. Even though, I am not part of your family but I just hope that you will make a wise decision. It is not too late for you to turn back. Maybe saying is easy than doing it. Sometimes, I hope that I can be on your shoe so that I know your feeling. So that it will be easier for me to understand everything. But that impossible because I am not even dare to walk on the path that you have chosen. No one is to be blame in this matter but just to remind you, you have the right to choose whatever you want. You have the right to choose which colour the suit you the best. Right now, there is someone watching you out there. He loves you more that you ever know (and i am quite sure that you know this). I hope that you get the message. Even, if you didn't, hopefully someone will tell you soon.

But if happiness is what matter the most, then you are free to walk around and choose which sides suit you the best.

Dancing competition - Bulan Bahasa

Recently, I had participated a malay traditional dance competition with few other classmates whom are mimi, faz, jarul and danny. Like it is a usual choice, we chose SEMANGAT (which has become a trademark word among us ~ me, mimi, faz) as our group name. Though, we only practised the dance for two days (by imitating a video from the you tube), we managed to get the 3rd place out of four group. Yeah, it doesn't sound that competitive. But the important thing is that we enjoyed the dance. this was the first time i danced a full malay dance which demand me to move myself as gracefully as i can but i love it so much!!

Show time

Today, we were invited to perform in a dinner function for the important people in the education sector. It was held at Riverside Majestic Hotel. But, I guess the whole pictures which were taken were only portraying our story at the back stage. Cause we were not allowed to go out from the back stage until the event finished.

BIG Story

I was having my BIG camp at Kem Alapong on 4-7 April and here is the story

FIRST DAY:

This is the camp site!

These were the camps where we slept. The space inside is enough for 6 to 7 people per camp. It was so sandy, hot, and uncomfortable sleeping there, but it teaches me one thing; be grateful that at least I have place to sleep. Cause some people out there don't even have place to stay!

Our kitchen tents; two groups shared one tent. though it was hard to put up the tent and gadgets, but it worth cause it was fun cooking there. The food was more than enough. the best thing about having this so-called-kitchen was that staying late at night and we can cook anything we want. 

At 4pm something, we had our water confident activity. Here, we were given chance to swim freely (but near the sea shore only) with life jacket on us. It was fun though the waves kept on pushing us to the shore!

This was my group mates with our flag. We were known as SEMANGAT - our group name. memang semangat ni! this picture was taken on the first night after the ice breaking session. the SEMANGAT members; anis, nizam, yassin, jiah, teng, faz, elsie, lydia, suzanna and me!

SECOND DAY: There were not so much activities that I joined cause I had my MUET speaking test on this day. So, at 8 am, some of my classmates and me went back to the institute to take the exam. We were only back at 4 pm and straight away joined the next activity which was the tongkat amanah. This activity was so challenging. We had to carried the bamboo (which symbolises the tongkat amanah) from one station to another station. Each station we had to go through the so-called-halangan which was arranged by the pihak penganjur and our lecturers. At the end, all of us was in brown colour with all the sand around our clothes.

At night, I became sentri (berjaga malam) from 12am to 2am. At first, I don't feel like sleeping, but then my eyes can't stand it anymore. Huhu. So, I slept like a baby ~ tired. But the sad thing about this day was because we (the MUET -ians) missed to join the rafting activity. So sad. I wish that we will be given another chance to go for rafting.

Third day:

This was one of the activies for today. It is called the music therapy whereby we danced freely according to the music genre. Like it!!

This was one of the tasks that we did during moral slot. The weird tulips were drawn by me!

This was our main activity on the 3rd day; Kembara. Though it was not that challenging still we enjoyed strolling around.

Lunch time! Everyone looked hungry. Serbu makanan!! 

We were only back to the camp site around 3pm. Then, my group did some practices for tonight event - Malam Kebudayaan. We were going to present a BORIA. After that, all of us were busy with cooking because that night also we had our Pertandingan Mesakan Ala Rimba.

FOURTH DAY: My wish was granted today. We got the chance to go for rafting. I guess, I was the happiest person in the world, the moment had came. Yaaayyy!! I really love it!!! But one thing for sure, we had to be extra careful during rafting. Anything can happen. Luckily, everything went well. I can't really explain my feeling during rafting, because you have to experience it to know. But overall, it was superb!

See, I was carrying the raft with some friends. 

This was the last activity. I was sharing on my rafting experience. 

Yeah, our group won two prizes for all the competitions which were 3rd place for Pertandingan Memasak and also Persembahan kumpulan. We were also given prize for Anugerah 1 Malaysia. Both our singers, faz and yassin won 1st and 3rd places respectively for the karaoke competition

BIG, MUET & JPP

I am going to have two big things to do this coming week.

The first one is my BIG. It is a 4 days camp which are compulsory for all the future teachers. It will be held at Kem Alapong, Lundu and we are going to sleep in the tent for 3 nights! I can't wait for it, yaayy!! Lots of activities will be carry out and the best thing about those activities are; they are all mostly the adventurous one like jungle trekking, up selling, kayak -ing and so on. I am going to have my sunburn but that doesn't matter at all, I am used to it. Plus, it will be only for once a while to have my skin sunburned! Really can't wait for it and I hope that everything will go well. I will upload some pictures for our BIG.

The second thing is that I am going to have my MUET test on speaking also next week, which is on the second day of BIG day. So, some of us (my classmates) are going back to the college and after the test finishes, we will be back to the camp site. Hopefully, I won't be missing to join any of the activities, especially those which I like the most. For MUET, I will give my best. 

Another thing is that, I was chosen to be one of the JPP members this year and I am under Biro Seni Warisan. This is the first time!! Though I know it will be a tough road ahead, but for sure it is the process of learning for me to develop my potential and learn more about the sweetness and bitterness of becoming the future educator. Pray for me ya.
