Graduation Day

I have had my graduation day for two times already. The first one was on my kindergarten day! And the second one was on my final year in SMESH! 

It was such a great feeling wearing the graduation robe with friends around who had been with you through the sweet and sour of five years studying. Browsing through the pictures makes me to miss the good old days, don't you too pals? 

In God's will, i will be having my third graduation in two years time. May God bless my journey and all my friends too. All the best to everyone!

Sometimes, i wonder what should i be?

1. Should i be beautiful in the eyes of everyone? or 

2. Be a plain average girl? or 

3. Be what society want me to be?

After wandering for thousands times i found the answer. It is not about being beautiful or stay plainly or be like what a society demands you to be. Everyone owns an identity. Everyone has the BEST in himself/herself. So be the BEST of yourself. Be the way you want to be!

I've made some drastic changes to my blog; changing the layout, adding and removing things as well as moving some posts to my other blog which is kept in a private mode. Yes, there are some things that no need to be written publicly. Still, some memories need to be shared with the eyes of the world. 

'Sing You Home' [Book Review]

Last September, I was strolling leisurely in MPH Book store, Spring with some mates. It was in the middle of Semester 4 and I don't have any intention to buy any novel as I do still have some unread ones arranged nicely on my rack. Yet, this novel caught my attention. Though it took me like months to finish my reading on it, I am satisfy! Inspiring, indeed! 

This novel opens the door to the different possibility of journeys in life. Identity, love, marriage and parenthood that are bound together into the very closest thing in the heart: family. The title itself draws my attention on how everything is unfolded in this story. Yes, there are just so many things about court and laws written in here, yet that doesn't create any boredom. The arguments brought up on the court portray the different sides of the identity issue in human life. Is it so wrong to be someone who is not acceptable by the society and law? Different people have different stance on this issue. The ending is a good twist. Yet, it is not the happy ending that matter to me but how each chapter, each sentence and each word are tied together, becoming a path to be travelled by the mind into an amazing adventure, seeing the widespread horizon of life as well as broadening the mind into something brand new. Reading is a form of travelling, figuratively. Though I am not a loyal reader, still reading is one of my preferable free time activity.

Little things in LIFE

In 4 more months, I will be entering my 22th years old age. Time flies so fast, isn't it? When my parents were at this age, it was the 'perfect' time for a girl be be married. But now, in this new era of generation, most ladies would like to focus more on their studies and establishing themselves in the career as well as to be financially stable before settling down. In between, there are some things that need to be put on hold until the right time come. 

In this state of life, i feel so blessed. Looking into everything, it is so beautiful. Yes, i am thankful despite of all the mix emotions and unexpected things in life. Having my family and friends around complete the circle of my life. I learn to see the little blessings and appreciate each of them. I was knocked down but gain the strength back to get up. Sometimes, i did complain on things but that is how i learn to see the different sides of life. 

When i am at the stable state, God made me to be the blessing to others' life. But that stable state won't last forever either, i do need some helping hands and everyone does too. Humans are created with the good and bad traits as well as with diverse strengths and weaknesses so that they are able to find the balance point in their life. So that, they learn to support each other reciprocally. The differences complete the human relationships. Life is just unexplainable. Different people have different says about life. When you are moving on your path don't fasten yourself forward, learn to slow down and enjoy the ride in life. That is how you will see the little things that matter in life. Life has many chapters too and it is up to us to doodle something on that chapter or just leave it blank for the rest of the life. I choose to enjoy every chapter, put some memories in them. Indeed, God has a great plan for us but we have to make the first step to begin something. 

Above all, I thank God for everything in my life and for making me to learn and see the little things in life.

'Rooster, oh Rooster'

Okay, my mind is full of the Rooster things right now and i need some air, some spaces, some entertainments! Two days off from college and Rooster, hopefully it will make enough time for me to entertain myself and have some lovely time with people around! 

I must have been mentioning the word 'Rooster' like thousand times recently. Actually, it is a drama for our LGA paper, a BIG production and part of the assignment requirement for the subject in this semester which will be performed around March and until then we will be busy with preparations. A challenge for us and i believe we are going to make it excellently well. 

P. S. This is so funny that the boys in the class started to play around with the peace sign as i have, unconsciously, posted three consecutive pictures of me making the peace sign on FB. Anyway, it does brighten our day with smiles and laughters. Something to do with happiness, don't depend on others to be happy but be the source of happiness to others. Smiles and peace always!

My little sister and my best sisters! My father will always be the best man in my life and on that special day!

8. Where do you plan to go on honeymoon? 

Anywhere, a trip around Sabah will do too! Paris, perhaps?

9. How many guests do you think you'll invite? 

Hundreds or thousands, as long as my family and friends are there.

10. Will that include your exes?

Can it be 5? That is my favourite number.

12. When do you want to get married, morning or evening?

Same with my cousin, morning till midnight! Lets rock the party people!

I don't have any particular song yet, but i would love to have Jason & Colbie (Lucky) song to be played on that day!

14. Do you prefer fine dining or just normal spoon & fork?knife? 

Buffet, so that everyone will get the chance to make another rounds!

Anything will do.

16. Honeymoon right after the wedding or days after the wedding? 

Anytime will do.

18. How many kids would you like to have?

Not sure yet but the more the merrier right?

19. Will you record your honeymoon in DVD/CD? 

Yes and take a lot of pictures!

This is only if i am to be (arranged-ly) married. Who knows, i might want to spend the rest of my life travelling around the world looking for the perfect spots to picture myself!

The New Year Resolutions

My new year resolutions? Yes i do have some general ones which are;

1. Eat more healthy food: fruits and green vegetables

2. Read more books: novels

3. Have enough sleep: 6 hours at least

4. Do more sports: jogging!

5. Give some times for self-reflection

6. Spend more times with family and friends
7. Save some money
8. Drink more plain water

9. Smile more!
10. Be grateful and pray :)

Of course things won't always go the way we want but at least i have some guidelines for the new year. Most importantly, be blessing to others, stay the course!

2013 IPBL

Finally, my third year as Degree student has come and i can smell the air pressure around. I haven't even entered the class, the lecturers had started looking for me. Don't worry, i am in progress of looking for moves and will be burning some oils tonight to look through the script. Indeed, this is a gold opportunity for me being in that position to learn more in other perspectives of life. But still, i do need some helping hands to work on it. Dear TESL siblings, let us work together for this production and for overall activities along this semester and onwards. 

Two more years to go. May God bless this journey as future teacher and inspiring educator :)

PS. It will be a miracle if we meet, but we did not. I guess, it is save for the future.

Hello 2013!

Many unexpected things happened on the last bits of 2012. Fortunately everything is just fine. I was actually not really in mood for everything these last few hours, something is just keep bothering, that mix unexplainable feelings inside. Maybe because my flight is waiting me in few more hours. Can i just sign for another days off from college?

Above all, i'm thankful for everything. The never ending fellowships and gatherings with friends and family makes me feel so happy. I love meeting all my relatives, far or near. Last night was a bliss for us because for the first time ever, an official family gathering was held on my grandmother's side family. I am so happy seeing all my grandma siblings gather around. This tradition will be continued every year and this year will be my grandma's turn to be the organizer. Can't wait for another family gathering. yayy! 

Last night was also my parents' 24th anniversary, and only last night i know it like really sure of it that my parents was the first grandchildren whom got married in Aki Andu's family. I must have been daydreaming for all these times for not knowing that fact. With that, my brother is the eldest great grandson in the big family. Me and some cousins must be the second ones! Never thought of that, omo! Anyway, I pray for a happy and blessed marriage life to my parents. This year will be their 25th anniversary so something surprise must be planned out! Let see how it goes later :D

Well, it is a new year! Let us make it a great and blessed one! Wherever we are and whatever we are doing, do be happy and grateful for our life, most importantly stay firm in our faith :)

P.S. I must make myself to fully utilized the leftover hours here. Packing up things, tidying up everything, scrolling through the lecture's schedules and files, listing up things to do and make sure everything is on track for 2013. IPBL life this year must be a 'SAMANGAT' one! Lets get started May!
