My Prayer

"Father, I said till
Death do us part
I want to mean it
With all of my heart
Help me to love you
More than I love him
Then I know I can
Love him more
Than anyone else

And bring him in
Your presence today
Make him what
You want him to be

This is my prayer Amen"

Keep doing my best!

Reading my old posts is like tapping on the old memories. What a great life transition! It really amazed me how some things unfold through years, and truly God is working things for me and for everyone too. There were points in life that I was just unaware that I will end up to this position one day. And yes, I am glad to walk down the path. The journey, ups and downs, has been incredibly exciting! There may be some things that I am unable to fully comprehend it, but one thing for sure I'm going to keep doing my best!

May God bless each and everyone of us. Lets pray for the best! ;)

Prayer

I pray that everyone will look into this 'hectic' time as an opportunity to learn something, not as a burden. Let spread the positive aura and attitude around. I know it will be sleepless nights for us all. Yet, rather than spending your day with gloomy and tired face, smile, it could make your day and people around you too :)

Humble

I went back from church last night and had this so powerful feeling inside. I feel like thanking all the people around me. Somehow and somewhere everyone plays significant parts in making who i am today. They are the anonymous saints sent to me everyday. Happiness, sorrowful, joyful, frustrated and whatever feelings that were impacted to me helps to build my thoughts, values and faith. In between everything, i learn the power of humility in life.

'The greatest miracles are the unspectacular ones; the greatest saints, probably, are the anonymous ones. "Should you ask me: what is the first thing in religion?" wrote St. Augustine, "I would reply: the first, second and third thing therein is humility." What about love? Isn't that first? Without humility love is not possible: there may be some activity of the ego disguised as love, but there is no love. Humility is the altar for which God receives sacrifices, said someone else. We thank God this day for all the anonymous saints of all time.'

Thank you everyone for being a good friend. Peace be with you. God bless.

Happy All Souls Day
May all souls rest in peace.

A Prayer

God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It's a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God. It's a good thing when you're young to stick it out through the hard times. When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence. Bow in prayer. Don't ask questions: Wait for hope to appear.
(Lamentations 3:25-29, The Message).

All Souls Day

I had encountered so many problems in my life and thankfully i managed to get it through, but the battles have not end yet. there are so many more waiting ahead. after a deep thought, i realise that the things that i fear the most in this life is when i fall and lose my hope for everything. i know everyone had been to that point of life. and it takes lots of courage to rise again. actually, it's good that we had been there and learnt something as it provides space for us to reflect back everything. but the thing is that how if after the fall, we lose the courage to stand up again and no more hope seen again.

Part of the things that can wipe away my hope is when i lose someone in my life, lose in a way that we won't had any chance to meet again; i am really scared to lose people around me, but it can't be denied that everyone will have to leave some day. and those who stay, have to continue walking and try to seize everything that come along the way.

I had been to the hardest part of my life, where I spent one whole night sitting beside the hospital bed with a person who was sick and the next day, she left us.

I remember that time, my parents had picked me up from the hostel, and straight away went to the hospital and i saw her lying weakly on the bed. then, my mother asked me to stay and take care of her for the night, my father even gave his phone to me in case anything emergency happened. at first, i was a bit unsatisfied because i wanted to rest and tomorrow was my confirmation day, but i saw my parents look more tired and worried, so i decided to stay.

I was half-asleep through the night, and i saw her moving uncomfortably, i know that she was fighting with the pain inside but i really don't know what to do to ease the pain, i was so sorry for her. that time, i was a little bit upset with the nurses and service provided there. i remember how harsh the nurses had treated her because the needle fell out. i wished that i had done something to comfort her and i thought that there will still be tomorrow for us but on the next day, she passed away.

That was the day, for the first time i saw my father broke into tears, seeing his mother had left him forever. yes, that person is my late grandmother.

I remember that during my childhood, i rarely spent my days with her. We only met once a year, or once in two years. and sometimes it almost three years i didnt see her, that why i was not that close to her. and maybe that was the reason why i got the chance to spent her last few hours of life together. she had been sick for years, and i know how hard my father and his siblings try to get her the best medicine to cure her sickness. i dont know why i didnt try my best to make her happy, or at least comfort her, when she was really in pain, i was really guilty when i think about it again.

Every time i share this story, i can't stop my tears from flowing. even though the bond between us was not that close enough, she is still one of the greatest person i ever meet.

Today is All Souls Day. I pray that her soul will be at peace always. let us pray for all souls too that they may rest in peace. Amen.

My Savior My God

I am not skilled to understand
What God has willed, what God has planned

I only know at His right hand

Stands one who is my Savior.
I take Him at His word and deed
Christ died to save me; this I read

And in my heart I find a need

Of Him to be my Savior.
That He would leave His place on high
And come for sinful man to die

You count it strange, so once did I

Before I knew my Savior.
My Savior loves, My Savior lives
My Savior's always there for me

My God He was, my God He is

My God is always gonna be.
Yes, living, dying, let me bring
My strength, my solace from this spring

That He who lives to be my King

Once died to be my Savior.
That He would leave His place on high
And come for sinful man to die

You count it strange, so once did I

Before I knew my Savior.
My Savior loves, My Savior lives
My Savior's always there for me

My God He was, my God He is

My God is always gonna be.
Dear Lord, strengthen me

I'm home!

I have so many stories to share but don't know which one to start first. But one thing for sure, I am home! Though it was rather dangerous to have a flight at night, especially with the bad weather around, still the 'flying iron bird' managed to safely landed in KKIA. To my dad, thank so much for picking me up in the middle of the night. I miss my home. yaayy!!

Anyway, I have been busy -ing myself with tons of assignments and activities these days!! And yesterday, we had a special assembly to farewell our director as he has been promoted. Congratulation Ayahanda! one thing for sure, you will be missed!! This means after holiday, we are going to have a new director.

I am going to have my holiday for two weeks. The first week is a holiday for me. But still I have to do some assignments which are to be handed in after these holidays. Then, the following week, I am going for my school based experience (SBE), at SRK St Agnes which was my former primary school. Glad to go there but still, I have some nervousness inside. Still wandering how SBE is going to be. Haha. After that, I need to prepare report for the SBE. Hopefully, everything will go well.

I feel that I am one of the blessed people in this world. Blessed to have great family and friends. Blessed to have food everyday. Blessed to freely seek education. Blessed to live in a peaceful country. I am really blessed and so you are people. We should be thankful for every little things that we have.

Because at this moment, there people who are suffering out there, craving for foods and shelters. Some are mourning their loved ones. Others are struggling hard just to breath. Maybe, at this moment we are smiling, but not for Japan. The 8.9 magnitude earthquake in Japan has shocked the whole world. Let just spend this little moment to pray for them.

My Prayer

Lord,
Help me to choose which path to travel when I have lost my life's compass
Help me to shine when I am in the darkest corner of my life
Help me to stand again when things seem so hopeless
Help me to bear with the things that I can't change
Help me to fight this tears and wounds inside
Help me to hold on when this pain is killing me slowly

I am an ordinary person. I am not perfect. I have sinned so many times. I have done wrongs. I have been bad. I have hurt Your feeling. Forgive me Lord.

Dear Lord, I hope that at that point of time, I can make my decision wisely on very single thing that matter me the most. Amen
