Outing Story

I had been for outings with my friends here for three days non-stoply accompanied by my beloved allowance.

The first outing was on 28 January 2011, the day when the allowance was out. We went to Boulevered. We ate at the food court and pizza after that! I was so full that I didn't really have the mood for shopping. Still I managed to buy a beg as a remembrance of my first outing with my love, dear allowance!

The second day of outing was on the next day. This time we went to Spring at 11am something. We ate and shopped around ! I didn't really shop here as the things are mostly expensive and branded ones. I am not a person who goes for branded things. As long as the things are nice and suit me, I will buy it! So dear branded stuffs, I will shop you when I get my own salary years later. At 2.30pm, we went to MBO to watch movie ; Season of the witch! Only went back around 5pm.

On the third day, we went for steamboat. My favourite outing above all. I love to eat steamboat especially the yummy 'Lok-Lok'. So delicious and I just can't stop eating those dishes. I want to go for steamboat again!

Altogether, thank you so much to my dearly TESL friends mimi, faz, miley, jarul, danny and wan for making our outings' days so much fun!

Happy Sunday

We have to experience the different moments in life, so that we know the real meaning of life. Life is not just about to laugh when we are happy or cry when we are sad. It is not about to enjoy everything and living to the fullest. But it is about to walk together with our God.

Happy Sunday people !
Be blessed.

Quote

I try my best to trust everyone in my life. But sometimes I fail. People tell lies and I innocently make myself believe into that so-called truth. But when all the truth came out, I am hurt to know that I have been cheated since then. It hurts to know that someone is hiding something from behind. Sorry that I have lost half of my trust on you. I forgive you but to forget, it is out of my control. I hope that you will be living a happy life there.

It takes time

Sometimes I wish that I could calculate all the written words and came out with an analysis or answer of the given text. But that is impossible. Until now, I still can't believe that I am doing TESL. I am dealing with English language which was my last choice of subject during my school days. I don't know why I am not really into language. I prefer to work with all the calculation than to analyse a text or whatever is it to do with language. Even, to be part of the English society is my last choice. I just don't understand why am I walking in this path. Can I just stop and turn myself into new direction, new path but not English. I do ever wish that I can speak English fluently one day, but not to master the language wholly. Pretending to feel okay is really hard. Slowly, I realise that I have forgotten almost all my knowledge in Mathematics. When I flipped off my certificates file the other day, I saw my Australian's Mathematics certificate. Suddenly, my mind was captivated with all unanswered questions and unwanted thoughts. I am so pathetic. I feel something burdened inside. From the beginning when I said YES to this course, I know that there will be some points in my life where there is a little regret surfaced in my heart. And it happens so many times since then. I know that I am a slow learner when it comes to language. Still, I believe that one day, I will get the answer why am I walking on this path. It takes time for everything to happen. Someday, there will be time where I will be doing good with the language just as I am good with the mathematics.

Today

Today, I only had one class which was from 2.15pm until 4.15pm. The whole morning I was lying comfortably on my bed with random thoughts in my mind.

Here are some words from me to my lovely people:

To my sister ely, don't be sad yaA. Everything happens for reasons. God bless you always dear. To my fellow car_rush sisters, I just want to let you all know that you're missed by me!

By the way, I think it is not to late to congratulate my sister alyn for the her result. Wish you all the best and take care always ya dear alyn. We gonna miss you soon. Be good there !

Ramdomly Saying

Just now, I was standing right in front of my mirror and suddenly this thought came to my mind.

Sometimes we tend to make judgements based on what lies in our eyes. But a piece of remainder here; just because a person is doing something which is against the norm of the society, it doesn't categories him as a bad people. Example, our dressings part. Of course someone's dressing can lead to thousand of interpretations. But sometimes, we need to be more open minded. We should not judge someone by the way he looks. Even if we judge, our judgement might not be entirely true. Maybe not even half true. Still, we have the right to criticise. And that person also has his right to dress like whatever he wants to. That is how he expresses his life. And it also shows how he lives his life. No one is wrong. We can judge, but always remember that the other person is free to express himself in whatever ways he wants to. Someday, when you are in that person's shoe, you will understand the real meaning of life. Think about it.

Toboh Villa

Last December, I went back to my hometown to celebrate Christmas. My hometown is located somewhere near the Mount Kinabalu. The place is still consider as rural area. The electricity was only provided last last year (2009). Before this, the villagers used the 'generator' to supply electricity at their home. Some home even don't have generators, they only use oil lamp. The villagers are mostly farmers. Some are really hardworking even though they have reached their 'old age'. Interestingly, both of my parents come from the same hometown. Their houses are only a distance away.

This is my father's family house. No one is staying in the house now as my late grandparents (father side) had died. Everytime we go back here, we will stay at my father's house. Hee. At least, there is something that reminds me about my late grandparents

The 1st picture is the kitchen. Actually, there is no proper place to cook in the house, so we just use the woods and make our own fire. The second picture is the place for washing dishes and sometimes we take our bath there. Hehe

This is my mother's family house. Similar to my father's house, no one is staying in this house also. Both of my grandparents (mother side) live separately. Huhu. So, my mother and her siblings insist my grandmother to stay with them in KK. Plus, she is not really well. Huhu. I still remember during my childhood days, I used to sit at the 'beranda' and even sleep there during days because of the windy and peaceful surrounding. Hehe

These landscapes is taken at the back of my father's house. Which mean, the village is surrounded by other hills. p/s : I love the pine trees !!

There is only one chapel in my village which is under Paroki Bundu Tuhan. The Christmas decorations were simple yet the spirit of Christmas was there

This is the scenery which can be seen behind the chapel. Actually, if there is 'less' cloud, you can see the gigantic Mount Kinabalu standing right behind the hills

These are some of the paddy hill own by the villagers

My father's house from far. On the sides, there are lots of arranged pine trees standing as though they are 'ushering' us to this village. I hope that I can go back to my hometown every year. At least once a year.

Happines

Our exam's pointers were out today ! I am so happy to see my result. I didn't really expect that my result will be like that. Perhaps, it might not be a satisfied kind of result for some people, still i am so happy for it. Maybe the happiest person on earth right now. Thank you so much God.

My promise is to do better next time. Giving my best!
