Hi !

Hi, it has been a while! 

I guess I have been too much travelling these few weeks! Going here and there, just like a tour all around Sarawak, but a free one! And yes, I have been to almost all the main cities in Sarawak! It is not just about dancing, travelling or sitting in the bus for hours but those highlighted moments spent with the wonderful company who hyper-actively cracking jokes all the way, meeting new people and creating memories! Those things are the ones that making this journey worth.

And as usual, I had been pampering my stomach with foods! Trying to soak all the sweet and sour delicacies of Sarawak. So for the coming days/weeks/months, I need to put on a strict & healthy diet!

Practicum 2 is coming soon too! It is kind of nerve-racking but I guess it will be an exciting one! I wonder how would my pupils be this time. Whatever it is, let have fun learning together! But yes, I need to prepare myself mentally, emotionally and physically too for everything that lies ahead. Practicum 1 has been a great exploration for me and this 2nd phase will be the time for tying up and  putting things in actions. Let see how it goes later!

Vacation!

I'm so in the mood for vacation right now! Anyone, please bring me along. 

Demotivating

I don't know why i just feel so demotivating with everything in my life now. There are lots of things to be done but i am not in the mood to progress. As if something is missing somewhere but i don't know what is it. I have been so leisurely enjoying my days with outings. It was great! But somewhere there are still some missing pieces in my life. Huhh ! It is not like i am not being ungrateful. At some points, i was having a thought of how would my life be 1 year from now, 3 years or 10 years ? It is a kind of life where i will be graduating after my final year, posted to some random schools in rural area, meeting my future husband, get married, having children, ensuring them to get proper education and spending the rest of my life educating other children too. Looking everything as a whole, it is kind of predictable story.

Hmm .. 

Yet, i am not sure either if that is the exact kind of life i will lead someday. But at least, i want to do something adventurous and yet memorable to be kept. I have bunch of lists of places to go and activities to be done. Like going for a 'one man' travelling to some foreign country, greeting strangers and seating in a bus with bunch of unknown people.

Anyway, i will be back in less than two weeks. Sadly, i just don't have that excitement to go back home. Don't know why. Though my holidays are fully occupied with activities where one of them is the most awaited one. Maybe i have this little imbalanced-mood-state inside. I feel like going for shopping , or a proper words to describe ~ window shopping. You know, some girls love to go for it as it gives us some fresh-sight. I know that i don't have that much money to own everything but i just love to  have beautiful things around.

'Stranger Inside' 2012

Another blessing comes to my life when I joined the 'Stranger Inside' convoy. I was longing for a fresh air moment and it comes out of nowhere.

So here was the story :)

9 June 2012 ~ first day

The first day of the convoy and I was taking picture with the convoy's shirt. Red was the theme !

The journey was started with a prayer ~ hoping that everything will go well as being plan. There were around 40 of us who joined and 12 cars used. The first destination was Tawau.

The views along the way ware fantastic ! It took us almost 8 hours to reach Tawau from Pitas. We safely arrived to Tawau around 5 pm and straight away check-in to the Kingston Hotel. This was my second time being in Tawau. The first time was on 2006 when I joined the 'Kadet Polis' marching competition. Yes, I remember some of the spots, that i had been to, back then.

Dinner time at Tom Yam's open air restaurant. The night was wonderful even though most of the drivers looked tired after the long hours driving !

10 June 2012 ~ second day

Our morning moment in Tawau was coloured with a wonderful visit to an AUTOSHOW. It was really awesome that all the vehicles was creatively decorated ! After that, we started our journey to Semporna and it was my first time going there !

We did stop at some spots along the way to take pictures ! Take lots of pictures!

Around 4pm, we went to Tampi Tampi Restaurant, one of the spotlights in Semporna. The food was delicious and I still remember the wonderful smell and mouth-watering taste of the Tom Yam soup ! 

We went back around 7 pm, then took a short tour around the area and only when back around 9 pm. 

11 June 2012 ~ third day

Today, we went for a trip to Mabul Island ! A place you will want to go if you are in Semporna.

Reached Mabul safely after almost one hour sitting in the speed boat. The views were fantastic. Can't forget the heart-pounding excitement strolling and snapping pictures around the island :D

Around 4 pm, we reached the main island. Actually, we are few hours behind the real schedule and everyone was rushing up to get ready for the next destination which was Sandakan ! It was like 4-5 hours drive. Luckily, everyone made it and we arrived Sandakan around 10 pm. At this point of time, I was really not in a comfortable state after having my skin sunburned ! But still, i managed to get my beauty sleep.

12 June 2012 ~ fourth and the last day

After having our morning breakfast, we headed to Agnes Keith's house. It was one of the historical places.

After that, we stop for a short visit at the temple. Another spotlight for visitors in Sandakan.

We took our lunch, which was the final meal-taking together, at the Sim Sim Restaurat. A seafood lover will love to go this place ! Yeah, just like me.

The journey continued to Sepilok. 

Finally, the journey back to Pitas started. It took us like 4 hours to reach there. Safely arrived around 9 pm. 

The programme was ended in prayer. Thank God that everything went smoothly. I will be missing them all, will be missing 'Stranger Inside'.

I have had a great time following this trip. Even though at first we did not know each other, but it ended as if we were all like one family. Saying farewell to everyone was almost tearing us up. 

The journey along the way was the one that matters the most. Yes, almost half of the times was spent on driving if the sleep hours were not counted. I was really amazed on how they organized this activities. How they support each other along the way. It is not easy to drive together as a group. Not easy at all. The slow trucks, not so good roads' condition, sleepy-night-drive and tiredness were some of the challenges we met along the way. Yet, everything was carefully handled and successfully overcome. 

PS. I wish, really hope, to go for another round of it. Yes, will plan something like this in the future.

I got a tattoo !

I have had a great breathtaking moment in Kota Marudu last week. We did also make some attempts of getting ourselves pictured, a so called photo shots session with the nature !

All in all, it was really fun. However, because of having too much fun, my right leg was scared ! It happened when we were riding on the motorcycle and unconsciously my leg touched the 'EXOS' ! Huh!

Now, I got a tattooed scar on my right leg!

Anyway, my next destination will be all around Sabah ! Hopefully everything will go as plan.

Ranau Trip

Finally, I got some fresh air to breath. Actually, I was away for 2 days and 1 night since last Tuesday. On that morning, I received unexpected text from my aunt, asking me to join them for a trip to Poring, Ranau. Plus, my other aunt, aunt enn and her family were going there too. So, by noon, we were on the way to Ranau and arrived Poring around 2 pm. The weather was superb! We checked in at Round Inn; the fee per night is cheaper like rm80 per night!

This was the Inn where we had our 1 night sleep at Poring. This Inn is located just across the Poring. The room was on the 1st floor, down there is a restaurant; serve no pork! After having our lunch, we went to the 'Butterfly Park' ! Sadly, there were not so many butterflies can be seen around. So, we just strolled and snapped some random pictures.

After a tiring walk, we decided to go back to our room and wanted to have some resting sleep. But suddenly, there was knock on the door. It was aunt enn inviting to join them for bath at Poring Hot Spring and the two little girls were like excitedly looking for their swimming suits. They really wanted to swim or maybe actually just want to play with the water. Although the weather was not really good, it was raining actually, still we managed to reach the pool and had some great time playing with the water. And I am happy that at least I managed to learn how to dive in the water. Then, we went back at 7pm and had our great sleep at the Inn.

The next morning, I was awaken by the sound of people running. It was my two little cousins, who were so excitedly running for the last chance for them to have some time playing in the water. Once again, aunt enn invited us to go for a very early in the morning swimming at the pool. But I was like, not this time. I still want to have my beauty sleep. After they went back, we then get ready and packed everything. The next destination was ....

This was the first time I came here. This place is not that far from the Ranau town, maybe around 20 minutes drive.

The aim of coming here is to have the fish to bite our legs because it is believed that the bites can remove the toxin in the body. But don't worry, it won't hurt. It feels like the fishes are tickling your legs. But actually, at first I was so scared just to get in into the water. Some of the fish are so big, just like the size of my arm. At last, I managed to get in the water though it was almost like the very last minutes. Because there is a time limit given which is only 15 minutes for a group of people and it is not free.  Anyway, it was still a great moment and I wish to come back here again so that these fishes can bite me!

Our next destination was the Pine resort. Actually, we did nothing here but only to take some pictures! and seriously I fall in love with all the pine trees and the mountains!

Haha. Anyway, I really have had some great time, some fresh air to breath. Thank you so much aunt pat, poyong, ika, unc aldrin, amber and aunt enn for making my days so much fun! hehe

I wish to go here again.

Hello Mr. Assignments!!!

Kaingaran, Tambunan

Tomorrow, i am going to Kaingaran, Tambuhan. Can't wait for it, hopefully everything will go smoothly as being planned. I still remember the first time I went there, which was on December 2006. I love the place. It is totally a peaceful paradise. I can fully rest my mind without bothering other things. But now, i feel that there are so many unsettle things in my mind. I feel that I am so bad sometimes. When I went to Kaingaran for the first time , I have promised myself that no matter what happen, I would not going to hate or get angry (even a little angry) with others. Yet, there were times, I broke that promise. I am so sorry for it. Sometimes, I was being ignorance to people and I know that is my weakness. I am so sorry, if I had hurt you. Sometimes, I was so weak that I could only cry over things. Hopefully, when I am there later, I can rest my mind peacefully, recharge my faith and become more stronger to face all the obstacles in my life.
