The Past

Suddenly, i miss my past days. The moments that leave lots of wonderful memories. There are some stories in my past which are left hanging. I don't know if that is the end, but i hope it is not. No matter what, its time to move on. Be strong cause something beautiful is waiting ahead.

Can't sleep

the clock is ticking showing me the number 3.40 am but i still can't sleep.. feeling like something wrong somewhere.. have i been missing anything?? or maybe it is just a random thought slipping over my mind.. huhu..

somewhere between the time and space, my mind is wandering, 'what should i do?' *sigh*

yeah, the road down there is still unpredictable.. it will be a long way to go..maybe..

Orientation week

Yesterday was the last day of orientation for the juniors. Yeah, it was a blast week! Last night was also the 'show nights' whereby each course (the juniors) is to perform the task which is assigned to them. this was also the first time I was in charged for the Sabah dance with my other partner, Aznal. we became so-called choreographers for the PK 2 course. at first, it was quiet hard to teach them the 'sumazau' dance as most of them didn't even have a basic in dancing. but after some times they managed to dance it. plus, the 'sumazau' dance is one of the easiest dances to learn. we did also make the dance steps as easy as we could and added up some 'daling-daling' steps at the beginning of the dance. at the night of performance, they did it! they managed to perform a dance with almost 'no error' at all, they did it quite well. i salute them for their efforts and teamwork. but the most important thing is that it was fun teaching them the dance, furthermore some of them are from Sabah which makes me to miss the sabahan slang plus the jokes. yeah, i enjoyed being with them. thanks to all the PK 2 for working cooperatively with us.

Back to the orientation story. overall, it was memorable experience! though we had missed some classes which should not happened especially on the first week of semester. being in the JPP team teaches me a lot not only in emotional and time management but also the social and leadership skills which are important for all the future teachers. seriously, this is the first time, i am part of this kind of organization which has the same function as the school's perfect. cause i had been a dedicated librarian for all my life in SMESH.

For the juniors, enjoy your days in IPBL :)

Welcome back !

A warm 'welcome back' to collogue to all teacher trainers around Malaysia! yeah, i am back to Batu Lintang ! gonna be a busy week of orientation with the newcomer juniors soon. but its okay, i am sure that it will be a blast week! as usual, my biro will be in charge with the malam persembahan for the juniors, hopefully everything will go well. there will be 9 groups of classes for this intake. 6 of them are TESL-ians. yeah, they gonna be a new group of babies for TESL community in IPBL. actually, we have this kind of culture in TESL family, which is to call the new intake TESL as babies. and the TESL seniors will be called as toddlers! and our lecturers are the beloved mummy and daddy here. hence, that makes us to be 1 big family of TESL here. our seniors will be back from Otago next year. so the number of TESL-ians will grow and grow here!

Sometimes, people tend to label TESL-ians as 'show off' with what we are to be and the language that we spoke. but please note that we are still learning and need to practice and apply the knowledge that we got. the same goes to 'you' and i am sure that 'you' are familiar with the statement 'practice makes perfect'. yet we are not here in this position to be perfect but we just want to improve our proficiency. we are not showing off anything, we are just OUTSPOKEN, at times!

Our institute is in progress of upgrading some of the building, so there will be construction everywhere. which also means, spreading of dusts and unpleasant sounds from the builder machine. but its okay cause less than 2 years everything will be back to normal.

Anyway, a warm welcome to all the juniors of PPISMP Jun 2011 intake to IPBL Kuching. Welcome to the road of education, enjoy the ride people!

Saint Basil Cathedral

I have just finished watching this Korean drama series which took me only one and half day. The story line is good which is on par with my mood right now, watching something which is related to mystery case. But the thing that caught my attention in this drama is the beauty of Saint Basil Cathedral (1555), Moscow. It is stated in the drama that this cathedral was designed by Posnik and Barma who were blinded so that they could never create a more beautiful building. Indeed, the cathedral is really beautiful.
See!

I wonder how they could build such an amazing building back then ?

Alone

Sometimes, i prefer being alone.
