'Sing You Home' [Book Review]

Last September, I was strolling leisurely in MPH Book store, Spring with some mates. It was in the middle of Semester 4 and I don't have any intention to buy any novel as I do still have some unread ones arranged nicely on my rack. Yet, this novel caught my attention. Though it took me like months to finish my reading on it, I am satisfy! Inspiring, indeed! 

This novel opens the door to the different possibility of journeys in life. Identity, love, marriage and parenthood that are bound together into the very closest thing in the heart: family. The title itself draws my attention on how everything is unfolded in this story. Yes, there are just so many things about court and laws written in here, yet that doesn't create any boredom. The arguments brought up on the court portray the different sides of the identity issue in human life. Is it so wrong to be someone who is not acceptable by the society and law? Different people have different stance on this issue. The ending is a good twist. Yet, it is not the happy ending that matter to me but how each chapter, each sentence and each word are tied together, becoming a path to be travelled by the mind into an amazing adventure, seeing the widespread horizon of life as well as broadening the mind into something brand new. Reading is a form of travelling, figuratively. Though I am not a loyal reader, still reading is one of my preferable free time activity.

She wished all her memories were of the good times but the bad times kept coming back to haunt her.

There were happy days, when she would walk around in a daydream with nothing but a smile on her face, catching herself giggling as she walked down the street when a joke of theirs would suddenly pop into her head. Then she would fall into days of deep dark depression; then finally build up the strength to be positive and to snap out of it for few days.

It was a tiring process and most of the time she couldn't be bothered battling with her mind.

Friends and family came and went; sometimes helping her with the tears, other time making her laugh . But even in her laughter there was something missing.

It was time to stop hiding in the dark and to hold your head up high and come face to face with the truth.

Whatever lay ahead, she knew she would open her heart and follow where it led. 

In the meantime, she would just live.

'P.S. I Love You' by Cecelia Ahern 

'Where Rainbows End' [Book Review]

Cecelia Ahern is one of my favourite author. The first novel written by her that i read was 'PS I Love You'. Since then i fall in love with her writing. Simple language yet could captivate my heart and leave some wonderful insights for me to ponder along the way. Hence, I bought the second novel by her, 'Where Rainbows End'.

This book is about love and friendship. Everything was written in a form of letters, emails, instant messages and postcards. I like how each word is twisted around. This book portrays the friendships between Alex and Rossie. Through years, there is a spark of love circling their friendship. And for the ending part, you might want to read it by yourself.

This book makes me wander if two best friend could fall in love with each other. I never have any boy who is so closed to me where we can act like really like a 'crazy friends'. But i do have some whom i am comfortable talking with about anything. Is it 'that' what we call best friend? I am not sure either. Haha. But if i am to fall with one i will be singing the 'Lucky' song by Jason M.

P. S. Okay enough with the rambles, need to get ready. I have a dinner to attend tonight.

'P.S. I Love You' [Book Review]

Yeahh, at last, i finished my reading on this novel. it is so inspiring!!

The story was about a woman named Holly who had lost his lifetime lover, Gerry, forever. He died because of tumour. The sad thing was that the death happened when they just got married after being in love for years. After the death of her husband, Holly had to go on with her life by herself. Everything was so miserable at the very beginning until one day, Holly received a parcel. There were 8 envelops inside the parcel and the sweet thing was that, those envelops were written by Gerry for Holly before he died. So every month, Holly will open one of the envelops. It feel like Gerry was there every time she opened the envelope. The letter contained words of encouragements and little note saying 'p/s i love you'. Gerry wanted Holly to move on with her life. And with the letters, Holly managed to change her life.

Holly managed to move on with her life, so do I have too.

1 Malaysia Book Baucer

I have just finished my 1 msia books' baucer and i think i had been spending it on the right things.

I bought 4 books: One Day, Perfect Match and The Sassy Girls

I haven't read any of them because i was busy reading on the 4th books which is P.S. i love u

The rest of the baucer was spent on stationary and etc.

Shiver [Book Review]

I have just finished reading this book today. It took me 3 days to finish this 392 pages book. This book is about an awesome love story between an ordinary girl with a wolf guy, they are so romantic couple, cute and loving too. The best part is the ending of the story. After being apart for some times, they meet back again!
