I used to love Mathematics so much and still at this moment. But at one point of my life, I found myself walking down the path to teaching, English as a major which deep down in the heart I never thought off. But somewhere all along the paths, with every single energy used to build and develop the motivations, I come to believe that everything happens for 'real' reason. With everything, I believe God has a plan from me, to prosper the future and, gratefully, I proclaim that it is a great one! Most importantly, I come to love what I don't and to learn to have faith with every single thing in life.
Tying up and putting all the things together that happened all along the way, I believe that there are purposes for me to be in this position, at this moment. It might be for some unrecognisable reasons, little impacts or kind of non-understood situations. With all my heart too, I am thankful to God for putting each and every soul all along the way. Some of them might leave negative impacts to me but most of all, it does encourage, motivate and inspire me in so many way that I could not imagine off.
Being the first batch of IPG (local) PISMP TESL teacher trainees is not easy at all, but I have come to see that it is a wonderful one! Studying in IPGK Batu Lintang Kuching, with great lecturers and awesome TESL siblings are those things that make me grateful. Being hand-selectively to be part of the TESL community in this institute is a great opportunity for us too, not just to build our proficiency in English but to maximise all the potentials we have in every aspect.
This journey is not just about becoming a future educator but to inspire and to touch the life of others whom I meet along the way. They may be the most silence pupil sitting at the back of the class or the most problematic ones, or perhaps the colleagues sitting next table or the aunty who is selling food at the canteen or the dedicated security standing at the school gate every morning or perhaps the worrying parents towards their children or it may be you too.
Above everything, I wouldn't want this journey to be an easy one, but let it be a thrilling, exciting and challenging one! No matter how hard the circumstances ahead, I will keep doing my best and hope everyone will too!
