KOT story

K.O.T. stands for ‘Kejohanan Olaraga Tahunan’. 

This event is held every year which involve all the students and lecturer in our campus. Our KOT this year was held on the 9th and 10th May which was just yesterday. The special thing about KOT this year was that all the names for 8 contingents which are set up are taken from the former principles of our institute. The great principles were Mr. Dickson, Mr. Wilson, Mr. Goodson, Mr. Smith, Mr. Weeks, Mr. Cormick and some more. I am in Smith contingent! Though our team didn’t win many prizes, but I am sure that all of us had done our best! just like our contingent's motto - STRIKE FOR THE BEST !

Overall, I enjoyed the KOT this year! Even though, I didn’t get any medal but I was so happy that at least I am willing to try. I had participated in 3000m, 800m and relay 400m. All are long distance run. One thing that I love about running is the feeling that captivated me when I am running. Some time along the race, I was so tired and feel that I can't step out any more, but my heart keep on saying 'don't give up may'. It feels like something inside me keep on fighting though I was extremely exhausted outside. I might be slow but I will never stop. That is also a promise that I have given to my life :)

I am looking forward for next year KOT. I want to keep on running and at the same time enjoying the long ride ^___^
