Entering February soon and it is one of my favourite months in a year!
January has been great. My best achievement so far was that I completed reading 2 novels in these past few weeks. One of the novels left me with a knock because I didn't expect the ending to be like that. Still, life is to go on. So, I am gonna finish more novels this year (please no jinx) and spending more time on reading a book instead of 'facing' the book.
Teaching has been always great especially with my year 6 kids. I am amazed to see the things that they can do with the language. Cooperation, Creativity and just everything. It is not easy to get them to that stage. I remember vividly, how I used to scold them a lot especially during our drama training. They were just Year 3 that time but I put high expectation to their quality of performance. But now, the product and impact are showing. They could independently work on the task. But above everything, I think they are the group of pupils who teaches me a lot on staying loyally with this job, to be passionate on the little things in learning. So, 15 years later, lets meet up dear SKGT1318!
The biggest different between the Year 6 this year and the previous years I am teaching is the fact that there is no pressure in teaching. I hope it goes the same with all the Year 6 teachers too. This year, I hope nothing but for them to give the best in everything!
This year, I will be focussing more on quality. It goes with the food, time spent, fitness journey and other things that I am investing for myself. I know it will cost me quite a lot, but it will definitely be worth it and enriching at the same time.
The start of this year was not really good to the fact that I was bedridden for few days on the first week of school and took up one of the biggest decision, letting go some big opportunities, in the middle of the month. But I guess, things will fall into places soon or later. Lets just now focus on the little things that are happening now. Live and just breath!
This year, hopefully, it will be another exciting rollercoaster ride!
O ya, I got a new nephew! Yaay!
